Sounds like things back home are pretty exciting with baby Oliver on the way soon! That's so exciting for Payt and Les!
So this week was going really good, we had dropped by a few people who were potential investigators. One of which named Anthony, was talking to us and he was really friendly. We had asked him if he was interested in sitting down and learning about our church. Well he kindly explained to us that he was Christian and didn't want to change his beliefs. Well we kindly explained back to him that as 'Mormons' our formal name is members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He still declined but offered us some lemonade which we gladly accepted. So that was funny. We had fun celebrating our (me, elder Goodman, and elder Riches) 6 months being out on the mission. Then our transfer calls came and we were pretty nervous to say the least. Well I have been in this area in Santa Barbara for 3 months now, and Elder Goodman just a month and a half. Soo we thought if anyone left it would be me.... but we really felt like we were staying together. Anyway we get the call and they tell me, that I will be staying! So we get pretty excited cause we feel like there is no way Elder Goodman gets transferred. But no they throw a curveball to end the inning, strike three! He's outta here! We were so sad. But if its the Lord's will, it's the Lord's way. He will be heading down to Moorpark which is basically like Thousand Oaks. I will be getting Elder Jones. I have heard good things about him so I am excited!
I hope all things are well at home, and that you are all Staying Safe! Love you all!
-Elder Smith
