Looks like you all had tons of fun this Thanksgiving! I am bummed I missed out on the Turkey Bowl, but I am definitely glad I am out here serving the Lord. The Pizza oven looks great and it has been coming along quite quickly. I am so happy Dillon had a better week. He emailed me again and said how excited he is to get out there and work.
So this week was pretty slow cause the holidays, and many people are out of town or they are with their families. So not a lot of contacting or seeing our investigators, which was hard. We did have many good dinner appointments with members though. Our Thanksgiving dinner was fabulous. The dad in the family owns a catering company so we were well taken care of. The Thanksgiving dinner was great and all and the only thing that could have made it better was having my family all around me. Families are truly one of the most important things in this life. I know that I have one of the greatest families here on earth and the blessings they have been in my life. It takes me back to the scripture that brought comfort to me in the MTC D&C 100:1. The Lord truly does look out for our families when we are away spending time doing the Lord's work. I have noticed how true this is. My week has been full of Thanks. I miss all of you so much!
